Okay any wonkiness that anyone might have experienced from our server move should be over. If you see anything not loading properly, try clearing your cache, and everything should be fine. Now that I am sure that everything is as it should be, I will be uploading a new podcast tonight.

A new show will be up by this weekend, and I am also dropping an episode of Phil’s (Theology Today) podcast into the feed that I believe will encourage those combatting hyperpreterism to keep it up; they are making a difference. One starfish at a time.

Okay, tonight I was going to record another episode, and as I was finishing up my notes, I realized that the material was becoming too confusing to follow without a prior article outlining all of the finer details. So, I decided I must write the article first, and then just give highlights in the podcast, referring anyone who is really interested to the written piece. This serves two important purposes. One, clarity. Two, it will free my listeners who aren’t interested in the latest hyperpreterist shenanigans to get the Cliff’s Notes version and move on. Please be advised, however, that ever since my recent podcast in which I finally exposed to the light the wickedness of certain hyperpreterists towards me a few years back, I am determined not to keep silent again. When they lie or play dirty tricks, I am going to call them on it. Some, such as Sharon Nichols, may dismiss such as ad hominem. Well, sorry friends, but in Christianity, character matters. Orthodoxy should lead to orthopraxy. When we see such outright abusive and dishonest behaviour of people claiming to be Christians (nigh, even leaders), their orthodopraxy IS relevant to their doctrine. Notice, I said claiming to be Christians. I do not accept that claim, and I do not believe that it is a coincidence that so many people have had similar unorthopraxic experiences with this particular unorthodox (heretical) group.

So that is the way I will try to handle these kinds of issues when they come up. Give an outline in the podcast referring back to a more detailed article to those who are interested and want to research and read the allegations for themselves. Don’t ever just take my word for something. I have seen this mindless acceptance happen at Sovereign Grace Preterism whenever these serious issues were raised; and it was downright cultic.

So in short, I have been working on getting actually two shows up soon. Please be patient. I hope that I am consistent in my attempts to source my information and give thorough research trails. But that takes a great deal of time.

New Podcast Up This Weekend

God willing, I will have my promised February podcast up this weekend. It’s not my fault I am shorted two days!!! Seriously, I likely will have it done on the 28th as I fully want to keep my committed schedule to at least one episode a month by the end of the month. There is also going to be a special treat following the regular podcast. The episode is already written as well as the show notes, I simply have to record it.

I just realized that I forgot to credit the song that the episode ended with, which is one of my favourite songs. It is “Concrete” by Plumb. If you at all liked the tiny bit you heard at the end, buy the song, it is awesome. I also highly recommend the song “Damaged” by Plumb.

I am currently working on the next two episodes. I had thought I would have finished one of them this weekend, but as I got into writing it, there was a lot more material than I had anticipated. I am about 75% through with the notes for the next one. The problem is being able to record. It is not due to a lack of time, but a lack of proper environment. My computer, my beautiful Mac Pro, is in the middle of everything. My house is pretty small, and unless I am home alone, there just isn’t any quiet place or time to record. So all of my recording is done when no one is home, and the parrots are in bed. That narrows the window of recording opportunity considerably. But never fear, it is coming. Or maybe, you had better fear, it is coming. I suppose it is all a matter of perspective.

I purchased the full rights to my wonderful theme music. I thank Mark Blasco for the wonderful job he did in creating it. That purchase means that I am definitely in for the long haul.

PS: I posted a response at Gary DeMar’s blog to his latest Olivet post. What are the chances of it getting approved? About the same chances as my endorsing Vista? Yeah, I’d say that is about right.

I had a podcast ready to upload tonight but it appears that I upgraded to the newest WordPress too quickly as the podcasting plug-in isn’t yet compatible. The developer for PodPress does the work for free in his spare time and does wonderful work, so patience is a must. So far, PodPress has given a date of about July 27th for a fix. It is possible that my perpetual WordPress ninja hero cirisme may be able to revert the database back, but I don’t want to burden him – he helps me so much already. I may be curtailing my posting here a tiny bit while I finish up work on my personal blog site. It may turn out that things remain business as usual, but just a heads up. I had a question graciously posed to me about my pen-name that I plan on posting a short episode on so that everyone is educated on the topic and taking a look at my notes for the next installment on the Olivet Discourse, there is a real possibility I might be able to get those two things uploaded this weekend. That section of Scripture is not going to take as long as I thought or … I am missing part of my notes.

And maybe…. I have had a little fun just laughing at Left Behind, so maybe that too.

Just like to give an update to everyone. The way our household schedule is that I don’t have much computer time every weekend, but rather it is more like three weeks on, three weeks off. I have some other church activities going on next weekend, but I will make every attempt and am planning to record and edit episode 6. I will let you know if there are any changes to that plan. There is some exciting ministry coming up over the next few weeks, so please keep my family in prayer in this regard.
