As most of you realize, Dee Dee has not been regularly posting here at “Pret Blog” for some time. She has repeatedly expressed the need for prayer as she was dealing with some serious personal problems. As things have now progressed, Dee Dee has asked me to relate this personal information to her friends and request that you give special times of prayer to her current circumstances. As the Apostle Paul states: “… The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” (James 5:16)
I have been in consultation with Dee Dee for some time now as a pastor, mentor, and friend. As I have gotten to know Dee Dee, she has become a special Christian Lady who I am proud to call my friend. Early on in our relationship, Dee Dee asked me to counsel her about problems in her marriage as a Minister/Pastor and Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor. Every effort to get her husband into Christian counseling was given by Dee Dee, but we were met with rejection at every turn. Dee Dee was committed to making her marriage work, and as a Christian, felt that she needed to pursue that objective above all other duties and tasks currently in her life, which explains why she has not been actively blogging at this time.
In the end, a divorce is inevitable and the reasons why are not important information that needs to be known. What is most important to Dee Dee is letting her friends know that she has done everything asked of her to make the marriage work. She did so with a passion, but the problem is not with her. I assure you that under the authority of Scripture and with full confessional consideration the divorce is biblical for her and she is not at fault before God and the Church. There have been many tears, heartaches, and disappointments, not to mention stress and depression. We know that God’s grace is sufficient. I ask that you pray that God’s grace be granted to our sister-in-Christ. She needs, now more than ever, to be embraced by her Christian friends, assuring her that we are united with her and willing to give the love and support she needs to get through these trying times.
I ask that you pray for our sister, and send letters (e-mails) of encouragement. Please allow her to continue have the personal space she needs to continue healing emotionally and spiritually. I assure you that she will be back stronger than ever and more committed to the advancement of the truth of Christ’s Gospel.

Praying for you, sister. Hang in there, Xena!
Hey Sister, praying for your situation. I hope that the Lord continues to strengthen you. All things for His glory even when they hurt. God Bless and praying for you.
Dee Dee, I wanted you to know that I am praying for you. God knows your heart of hearts and your desire to honor and give Him glory through this awful time. I just wanted to encourage you that you have been MOST instrumental in helping me to see God’s Word CLEARLY. God’s providence is strange at times because the way I stumbled on your podcast was that I thought you might be Rick Warren’s wife or related..lol, so just one “click” brought me into the Preterist world which I never knew existed before the “click.” I had so many unanswered questions over the years of the end times that no one could biblically or satisfactorily give me an answer especially with the whole Pretrib Rapture view. At first I was skeptical listening to you (knee jerk reaction to years of indoctrination) but open because my deep search for truth in all things and knew that God promised by His Holy Spirit that He would “lead me into all truth and things to come.” My boys feared their future greatly because of the Dispensational, Antichrist, 666, 100 lb hail and blood flowing as high as a horse bridle wooden literal talk these days by ones like LaHaye and Hal Lindsey of the past and most preachers out there today, and and that disturbed me greatly as a mother of two young boys who want to follow Jesus with all their hearts. Well, here it is about a year later, with the help your podcast and some very intensive study of my own along with some others like DeMar and Gentry’s eschatological teaching, I am TOTALLY convinced that the Partial Preterist view is the correct view of the end times. It makes sense and follows sound biblical hermeneutics and exegesis of scripture and solidly answers so many of the questions I had. There is a blessing noted in Revelation to those “who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it.” I indeed understand what that blessing is and my children can simply look forward to the bodily second coming of their Lord Jesus and not running from a 666 tatoo on their forehead or 100 pound hail. It changes a persons whole perspective on God, life in Christ and world view. THANK YOU DEE DEE for your time and sacrifices you have made to further God’s kingdom and to equip the saints. I cannot tell you what unspeakable eternal joy you have put in ALL of the members of my immediate family’s heart!! THANK YOU again and are praying that His joy, peace and love will cover you fully and help you to heal and “restore the years that the locust have eaten.” (Joel 2)
much love,
Karen ….I love your real name by the way. This one is my real name too =0D
Hi Karen, thank you so much!! God is so good. He brings uplifting and encouragement precisely when it is needed. Your words were very refreshing to me today. My name is spelled a bit bit different, it is Caryn. For the first time ever I work with another Karen, and it gets so confusing! My mother like to spell names in an unusual way.
