This episode was unexpected, but I feel it was important to address this concern. A caller into The Narrow Mind radio program asked Pastor Gene if it was proper for him to listen to my podcast since I am a woman and would be teaching a man. Pastor Gene and Jonathan answered this question very well, and I am sensitive to the fact that perhaps many of my male audience members might be having the same question.

I live for iTunes comments. Yeah, I know it’s pathetic, but there it is. Please if you get a chance, leave a comment for me on the Preterist Podcast page. Also, I am pleased to announce that this podcast is now also listed with Podcast Pickle.

You may know The Forerunner. It’s that male dominated preterist site.
Eric Holmberg and I are doing a video on postmillennialism.
We were wondering if you’d be available for a video interview.
We promise not to exalt you to level where you might exert authority over us men.
Email me if you are interested in talking about it.
- Jay
Hi Jay, yes you know I know you!! Actually it is interesting that you should post that request in this thread because it does bring up the concept of authority. My husband forbids me from broadcasting my image on the Internet in any form – that is why you will find no pictures of me on this or any of my websites. So I honour that wish, though it is not a choice I would make for myself.
So unfortunately, I must decline at this time due to my husband’s house rules. If you are ever interested in an audio-only interview, I would be most willing.
Interesting.
Voice is allowed. Voice plus images of the woman is not.
I’d encourage you and your husband to think that through a bit more.
Of course, submit to your husband in the meantime. By all means.
In any case if you would like the DVD, The Real Jesus, I would love to send you a review copy. If you can email me a physical address, I’ll send one out right away.
My email address is at my website.
Great podcast. Please keep up the good work. I am especially interested in your views as a Molinist, as most prominent preterist postmillenialists are Calvinists (Gentry,DeMar and the other Reconstructionists).
Hey Jay… I will send you an address that I can get things at – it is the theologyweb address. I would love to see it.
Michael, thank you for your compliment. If you get a chance, can you please leave a comment on iTunes? I am not sure how much I will get into Molinism, but you never know. I don’t get into soteriology very much in debate, as a lot of get into heavy philosophy and the minute someone starts using equations in theological debate – I can’t take it.
